Didn't realize that the Atom 500 doesn't come with a coldshoe mount, and I can't justify $20 each to buy them- so here we are.

The mount is attached with two 3mm x 6mm screws, and is threaded for a 1/4"x20 standard tripod screw. I grabbed a coldshoe adapter I had kicking around and was off to the races.

While this mount feels pretty sturdy, please remember that it is only plastic. Use at your own risk, I assume no responsibility if it fails under excessive force. That said, if you whack the Atom 500 hard enough to break the mount you may have other issues to deal with…
