The cable of my Ortur Laser Master 2 occasionally gets stuck, so I designed some brackets to add a 10x11mm drag chain.
The stepper motor brackets of the X and Y axes only need to slide over the stepper motors. The X-axis chain screw is fixed to its stepper motor bracket and then connected to the Y-axis stepper motor bracket. The Y-axis chain screw is fixed to its stepper motor bracket and then connected to the L-shaped structure in the front left corner. The L-shaped bracket is fixed to the lower side of the extrusion with two T-shaped nuts and has three holes for the chain, facing the corners of the frame. The Y-axis bracket
I hope the photos can be made clearer. If I'm not mistaken, I ordered a two-meter-long drag chain (10x11mm).https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08R1M9J2H/) There's still some left. Just make sure the laser moves smoothly over its entire range. If the drag chain is too short, it will cause excessive bending... and if it's too long, it might hit the frame.
All parts do not require support, but depending on the printer/settings, a base support may be necessary.
