Summary
After a few months the IKEA Skadis Spool holder form alecs_from I'm using started to bend because of the spools applying constant downforce. So I designed a stabilizer "rod" that fits into the oval cutouts, to get the holder straight again.
May need to be printed at 101-103% scale. Just try for yourself what fits your holder best.
