Version 1: Smooth rod and acme screw stabilizer for 1405 Simple. Improves z axis wobble that translates to x & y waviness as you go up in Z.

For best results, drill out the rod holes to 5/16" or 8mm and drill out the acme screw hole to 1/4". Apply a little bit of grease to keep it quiet.

You may want to check your max Z height as the Y carriage can hit it if you go up too far.
