A printable SH-56 Lateral Release SPD Cleat. Useful only for short term use unless you happen to have some of that wondrous carbon fiber laced filament.

I have included a version with built-in pedal; this is the version I printed in PLA. We've used it on a stationary bike and so far it has held up well with active pedaling and multiple on/off clips.

Printed in PLA with CuraEngine with a 6mm brim. ABS will be better, but neither will survive too long; will try some of the newer filament types... Still, better than nothing if you can't get a metal replacement.

Supports "everywhere" are needed for the overhangs - I used just lines which made it much easier to clear the supports later; the grid was nearly impossible to remove - both worked just fine for support.

I printed the entire pedal in PLA; it lasted for about 2 months of use 5 days a week for 1/2 to 1 hr a day; I didn't take on or off that often. Eventually the pedal itself cracked - not the cleat. I've re-printed using PETG + Carbon Fiber; I'll post later if it lasts longer.
