I wanted a way to make better use of the space in my toolbox so I created this combination wrench tool holder. I left enough space between the wrenches to be able to get them out easily. The wrenches are Challenger/Proto.
This is part one as this print used up the space of the Prusa MK4S bed. A second model will continue the holder. This is the SAE version. I will be doing a Metric version as well.
Nothing special to note about the printer settings. I used the default PLA settings for Prusement PLA @ .20 structural. No bridges or brims needed.
I do not have an MMU so I raised the wrench size platforms to the same height to make use of the color change setting in the Prusa Slicer. In a future version, I will make one for the MMU will require less filament as the size platforms can be different heights.
Updated March 31, 2025:
After using the original holder, I felt I was too generous with the space between the wrenches, so I updated it.
I reduced the gap between the wrenches by 3/16" (4.7625mm). This also allowed another wrench to be added and still fit on the MK4 print bed.
Updated April 9, 2025:
Today I added the remaining SAE combo wrench holder for the rest of the sizes I have.
