Overview
These are a set of simple lids for cereal-box dryboxes that are designed to be minimal prints and take either PC4-M6 or PC4-M10 fittings for PTFE tubing to carry filament.
The versions designed to use PC4-M6 fittings have a rounded feed area underneath so as to reduce filament getting shaved by the sharp edge of the fitting as it's pulled through.
I'm mainly using these alongside my modular dryboxes. I have a more complete lid that allows for stacking the boxes, but it does take longer to print.
The “_clip” variants are made to hold my simple mini-swatches. Go there to download the swatch and add-on clip models.
Updates
Update Jan 19
Corrected PC4-M10 variants to use the correct ISO fine M10x1.0 profile for threads.
Update Jan 20
Added new versions of lids that include a simple clip to hold mini swatch samples to more easily see what filament is inside.
A mini swatch clip that can be glued onto other pieces or the sides of a drybox is also included.
Update Jan 21
Cleaned up the add-on filament clips and moved them to a separate print.
Printing
The ‘P’ versions of the files are round versions that work with the PRAKI cereal containers on Amazon.
The ‘U’ versions of the files are triangular versions that work with the Utopia Kitchen cereal containers on Amazon. (I don't like these as much since they're strongly tapered and constrict movement of spools)
Both .step and .stl files are uploaded and in their own folders.
