I decided to buy a new multimeter for my workbench and I wanted to be able to mount it to the wall, to keep it up off the bench to reduce clutter. When the Uni-T UT890C meter arrived, I noticed it had what looked like a small tab for a wall hook but I didn't think it was strong or stable enough. Then I noticed what I think are snap-in holders for the two probes and decided to hijack them for the project.
This design is what I came up with, the meter pushes straight onto the two vertical tubes and the bottom of the meter is held in place with a little positive pressure from the bottom block. It mounts to the wall using standard wall anchors, but you'll need to find some long-ish screws for the bottom two holes.
I've provided the native Fusion 360 file and an STL file for easy printing.
Note: This holder may fit other Uni-T meters if they use the same design rubber overmould, but I don't know which specific models. If you find another model that works, please put it in a comment below.
