Summary
Nothing special here. I got tired of trying to find a "starter pack" of bases and bins and I gave up trying to learn CAD to do the parametric stuff. I didn't need a special cutout bin for a specific brand of a specific tool. I just wanted a bin to put junk into and a base to hold it together.
So, here ya go.
This has all bases up to 5x5 (cause that's the largest size my printer can print) and all bins from 1x1 to 5x5 (because that's the largest size my printer can print). All bins are 3, 6, 9, and 12 units tall.
Like I said, nothing special. No cutouts, no dividers, no special shapes. Just bases and rectangular bins. If you want them to have special cutouts or whatever, throw them on Tinkercad or something and knock yourself out. If I find I have a need to put dividers and stuff in them, I'll upload those too. I just don't have that need right now so I didn't do it. If you do it, be cool and post the remix or whatever.
The zip file has all the bases and bins, the other 2 are just an example of them. Print them in whatever you want, .2 layer height should be fine but go bigger if you want. I've only done PLA because that's the only filament I have to print with right now. If your printer prints PETG or Nylon good at .01 layer height, fire away.
With a .18 layer height, 15% infill, and a brim everywhere, the 5x5 base takes about 1.5 hours and the 5x5x12 bin (without the brim) takes around 9 hours on an Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro. Everything else in those categories will take less time than that, to give an idea of print time.
Edit: Noticed I forgot to add the 2x2 baseplate. Fixed that.
