I made a backwards club to mess with my coworkers during a company mini golf event. Warning, many did not like it. 

You will two of the pivots and they fit together snugly. A screw/bolt may or may not be needed. The fit is quite snug.

I made mine with a ¼" wooden dowel.

It should raise a few eyebrows if you pull this out.
