MakerTom's original design proved unsuitable for my rainwater tank pump, which delivers lower water pressure than a mains supply. The original jet's range was approximately 1.5 meters. Consequently, I redesigned the jet for reduced flow rate, increased range, and broader lateral dispersion. Two versions are provided; the second features an even thinner jet with greater lateral dispersion. The gentle water stream is plant-friendly.
The original nozzle was also too short and difficult to remove from the hose connector, so I extended it to 65 mm.
Variants:
- Watering_jet_1 (narrower): jet 2 x 17 mm
- Watering_jet_2 (wider): jet 1 x 30 mm
Print with the jet tip on the build plate—the Gardena coupling facing upwards. Printing is straightforward with any filament; supports are unnecessary.
A rubber O-ring is required for sealing (16mm outer diameter, 2.5mm ring thickness).

MakerTom's original model was entirely unsatisfactory for my purposes, as I use a rainwater tank pump for watering. This pump provides lower water pressure than a mains water supply. With the pump, the original nozzle had a range of approximately 1.5 meters. Therefore, I redesigned the entire nozzle to achieve a lower flow rate with a greater range and lateral dispersion. I created two variations, the second having an even thinner stream with increased lateral dispersion. The nozzle is gentle on plants due to its fine water distribution.
