This is a repack, intended to significantly reduce prep & print time by laying out the components of the model in an efficient manner.

The new layout for printing the leg sections allows a full set to be printed in a single session on even a very modestly sized print plate. Should you wish to make the legs longer by adding even more sections, I have also included a 'top-up' STL file of a row of 10 extras. Personally, I found 6 + 1 end-piece to be just right.

Previously published iterations of this model suggest a lower quality print, but my test results reveal that the mechanical nature of the joints is vastly improved by upping the quality to 0.12 layer height with 4 shell layers and 20% infill to preserve structural strength.

Supports will be required for the body, but NOT for the leg sections, as they are already included (minor cleaning will be required)

A hot print plate is a serious plus.

I always pre-heat my printer for up to a full minute before printing for the best results. I'm not confident that removable print plates would otherwise get to full heat prior to printing, as temperatures are recorded in the heating layer below.
