This is a mount for being able to attach your GoPro camera magnetically to a surface.

Materials Needed:

5x or 10x Neodymium Bar Magnets 25mm x 8mm x 2mm (I used these)

4x M3 Hex Nut

4x M3 10mm Socket Head Screws

Notes:

You can use either 5 magnets (by putting the spacer above the layer of magnets) or you can use 10 magnets laid out in two rows with no spacer. I found that using 10 magnets did give an overall stronger grip.

I printed the base in TPU/FLEX to make it a little gripper on whatever surface you decide to stick it on.

The base needs to be printed with supports to account for the counterbore in the socket. You should be able to orient the interface to print without supports

Assembly

Warning: be careful with the magnets, they are quite strong and could pinch your fingers if you're not careful.

Install hex nuts in the “Go-Pro Interface." The tolerances are fairly generous so they should go in no problem, but you can pull them through with a screw if needed.

Put your magnets in your base, and put the spacer on top of the magnets if you're only using 5 of them.

Carefully screw the parts together.
