Summary

That shower curtain rod fell down once too often, so here we go.

Specs:

• Max shower rod diameter for this one: 34mm (mine was 33mm). Up to 30% smaller should be fine and still look good.
• Total dimensions: 72mm diameter, 20mm depth, 2mm thickness everywhere (so surface for shower rod to lay on is 18mm deep).
• To attach you need 2 screws, 7mm diameter screw heads, 3mm diameter screws (spec'd as 3,0 x 20 mm on the box). I used 5mm wall anchors from the same box, and used a 5mm drill bit. Screws get perfectly sunk.
• Distance between the screw holes: 18mm (one center screw and one to the top).
• Or just open it up in Blender and select the vertex loops and use scale tool to adjust to whatever screws you have around and where you want them.
• Most shower curtain rods have two ends, so you usually need two of them. You can just load the STL twice into Cura if you want. Just make sure both are on the buildplate with their flat side if you want to print without support.

Print settings:

• 30% Gyroid infill
• Random Z seam alignment (probably doesn't matter)
• No support, no special adhesion (after all, the way it's designed it's just flat on the buildplate)
• Used an Ender 3 V3 KE, "SUNLU High Speed PLA+2.0" at 225 °C and 300mm/sec (half for first layer), but it probably doesn't matter a lot
• Note: for more strength turn the model at some random angle, maybe 45 degrees, and print with tree support and brim or raft; didn't do that though, let's see if it holds, feels rugged enough

Was an easy job in Blender, nothing particularly big - that thing just annoyed me enough to finally do something about it, and I was too lazy to drive to the hardware store. Dumping it here as an archive kinda. Enjoy!
