The clips are normally used for mounting plastic flowers to a Christmas tree. You can find them at craft supply stores or order them from Amazon.

The clip has a little spike on it. This fits into the teeny slot in the bottom of the brick. Push until the spike is as far up as it will go. Depending on the precision of your printer, you may find that the slot may need to be modified to fit the clips you are using. The design, as is, worked perfectly for me, but your mileage may vary.
