Summary
We have an retractable/extendable baby gate that uses hooks to hold it in place.
One of the hooks broke. Created this to replace it. It is a 1:1 replacement and worked great until we finally stopped using the gate some months ago.
While finding the original we bought on Amazon (EasyBaby brand), I noticed there are some alternatives that are not only a better design, but also more flexible, with the drill holes installed on the side, and/or flat mounting brackets that the hooks would slot into. These are all better ideas IMO, but this was an exact replacement due to need.
With the above said, I'm pretty sure this would work for most of those alternatives with little to no modification.
It's a quick print. If your gate has a broken hook (which I suspect is pretty common with this product), hopefully this will be a quick and easy fix to get you going again!
