This tool is used for creating your own pickling solution at home.

Why ?
When you solder or heat your silver jewellery, firescale naturally occurs.
You need to clean up your jewellery to remove the top layer of your piece.

The best way I know is to use a pickling solution.
My recipe is simple :
• 250ml of white vinegar
• 15g of salt

I design this tool because pickle works best at a warm temperature 50-75°.

1.put all the ingredients into a jam jar
2.preheat the solution with a bain-marie
3.put the jam jar on top of the design with a tealight to maintain the temperature
You may need to trim the candle wicks if soot builds up under the jam jar.
