This is a pocket operator thin shell inspired by the official Teenage Engineering CA-X shell, suitable for the Teenage Engineering series of pocket operators with digital keys.
I was looking for a thin shell to house my pocket-sized controller on platforms like Printables and Thingiverse, but all the shells I found were too bulky. So I started from scratch and modeled it in Fusion 360, using a multi-material system
The printing is divided into three parts: the upper part, the lower part, and the battery cover. The upper part of the shell has modeled supports and a support interface layer. The support interface layer should be printed with support material
If you use my 3MF file for printing, you need to carefully release the button first and then disconnect the other supports. I used a toothpick to gently peel off the button from the support interface while pressing the rest of the button with my fingers. The button is connected to the main upper shell by tiny bridges, so be careful, otherwise, you might completely disconnect the button

The actual support should be set to a single-layer edge, two layers of upper and lower layers, and a 4% fill rate. I used an aligned rectangular pattern.
You can make adjustments to the pattern on the top surface to achieve different "looks" for the case. I really liked the Hilbert curve pattern, but it obscured the pocket operator logo on the top. In the end, I chose the octagonal spiral pattern, and I think it looks great!
Choose the color you like for the pocket operator logo, button text, and the button cover for the recording button. I just mirrored the color of the official case because I already have one. Now all my POs look very similar, as shown in the picture.
The lower shell is a simple print. I used tree-like supports to print it on the printing boardThe lower shell will be connected to the upper shell. You may need to bend the two sides slightly to allow the 1/8-inch jack of the pocket operator to pass through the lower shell.
The battery cover is printed using TPU material, so it is flexible and can be removed and replaced with a new battery. It fits tightly and won't fall off.
