I've seen a lot of chess board designs, and never have really been a fan of any of them - usually, they're made with large pieces that won't fit on most standard printers. Hence, this project.
This chess board can be printed using any commercially available printer - the largest dimension is only 35mm! The squares are held together using dovetail joints, so theoretically you could make a chessboard however large you want - 20x20? Go for it!
Based on my first attempt, I would suggest scaling up the "chess-square" piece to 101% for a better fitment. Everything should snap together just fine after that.
The number beside the name (e.g. "chess-joint_112") is the quantity of these parts needed to make a traditional chess board. "chess-square_32x2" is similar - 32 of one color, 32 of another
