You have seen the training aids that are designed to help you control your arms through your swing.  The ball is designed to be printed in TPU so that you can gently squeeze it between your forearms.  The teather attachments can be printed on their own and then superglued on.  This allows you to run a piece of string or elastic through the holes and then attach them to a longer tether that you can put over your neck to hold it in the event it falls out during your training.   It also makes it easier to grab the club and then position it between the forearms.  The indentions on the side of the ball make it easier to align your arms.
