This is a stand I designed for the PS5 (non-slim, disk version). It is specifically matched to the shape of the dbrand darkplates2.0. I appreciated the design of a similar magnetic stand that dbrand offers for the PS5 slim, and wanted to make a similar design for the non-slim version.

This stand can be used without magnets! But if you do want to use them, it requires some kind of adhesive to secure them in the stand, and to the faceplate of the PS5. Using anti-slip pads cut to size is recommended at least on the surface between the PS5 and the stand (more details in instructions).

Suggested Materials

• 2x   12.5mm diameter x 10mm cylinder magnets
• 6x   12.5mm diameter x 1.5mm cylinder magnets
• 2mm thick adhesive silicone rubber pad (example)
• hot glue

Instructions - refer to pictures

• Print stand (and magnet caps if desired)
• Print template for cutting rubber mat
  • I recommend using the template that is a flat sheet with the pad shapes cut out (in the .3mf)
  • Before cutting the pad, check that the orientation is correct with respect to what side the adhesive should be
• Cut mat and adhere in place
  • (this step is very tedious but I thought it was worth it)
• Insert magnets into stand
  • Insert taller magnets into the deeper holes, and a stack of 3 1.5mm thick magnets in the shallower hole. Use a small amount of glue to secure them
  • Insert magnet caps in holes of corresponding depth and secure with glue if desired.
• Place faceplate on top of stand, and position remaining 1.5mm magnets on the inside of the faceplate
  • use a small amount of glue to secure these magnets to the faceplate
• Install faceplate on PS5
• Attach stand and enjoy!
