I'm renting so I wanted to avoid drilling the outside wall. I've creted this little adaptor so I can zip-tie the camera to the gutter. 

You need to attach the original mounting plate onto the printed piece - I've used 2 x M3 screws and nuts to hold it in place. 
add 2 zipties and you are good to go.
