As discovered in March 2023, this single shape tiles the plane but only non-periodically.

Some of the tiles in a tiling must be mirror images of the others. On average there is about 1 mirror image tile for each 7 non mirror image tiles. So print a few mirrored. In the photos the red tiles are the mirrored ones.
