Summary
The 123ignition electronic distributor is a popular and useful upgrade for the classic Mini, but it's not very well sealed against water ingress. This is not ideal on Minis.
The original Lucas distributor has an extra flange where the distributor cap meets the body, forming a reasonable seal. The 123 has a large, thirsty gap. (See photo)
This seal slips onto the 123 distributor body and fits closely to the distributor cap. The seal has an internal air gap and drain channels to let any water escape. Sealing could be further improved with some silicone grease between the seal and distributor cap, just don't plug the drain channels.
Designed for the 123/MINI-R-V (4 cylinder Lucas 45D4 replacement with selectable ignition curves). Might need some adjustments to fit other models (6-cylinder units, 123/TUNE and 123/TUNE+)
Printed in 95A TPU. Supports only needed under the two notches.
