This hinge can be used for any thing and can be changed to a ball joint by taking out the slits giving you a 360 rotating part - I have designed a box to hold my daily medication and a workable toy cannon. 1/5/15 redesigned for better support.

Based on my own and another user who made one (thank you) we found a common weak flaw in the original design. I have redesigned it with more support. It can still be printed together and can be resized to fit most any type of project. I am sure it has a size limit before it will become ineffective. I have left the original design in for now.
