How do I wire it?
Circuit
The circuit is super simple. There's an arduino nano, a 5v/3v level shifter, and an HC-05 bluetooth module, all soldered into a solderable breadboard.
That contraption talks to my android phone via Software Serial. There's a photo of the circuit attached. I'm happy to draw it out if you leave a comment and ask for it, or feel free to ask questions.
The arduino nano uses a 5v/3.3v level shifter like this one to drop to 3.3v for the HC-05 bluetooth module, since that module isn't rated for 5V logic (it's okay to give it 5V power):

The tape on the various components is hiding the arduino and bluetooth status LEDs.
