This soffit vent fits in a 2.5" hole on the eave of a house. The soffit screens on my house were rusting through and birds were building nests in them.

It goes in the hole with just a friction fit. If it doesn't quite fit, adjust the "eave_hole_diameter" in the OpenScad file to resize.

Also, if you use the OpenScad file, there are some settings for the print layer height, skin size and extrusion width that may help you get a better print. The settings I used were:

• 0.25 layer height
• 0.60 skin size
• 0.5 extrusion width

I've included two versions of the vent. One has the screen recessed into the hole and the other has the screen flush with the hole. I thought the recessed one looked a little nicer. I picked red PLA to print it to match my front door.
