I adjusted my original design to remove the single dowel holding every spool to using two 1/2 inch (13mm) wooden dowels so that they can hold spools that are in bags. The dowel caps get screwed into the dowels to prevent them from accidently rolling out. I used scrap dowel to make little rollers to sit on the sides in case the spool jams, keeping it from rolling away.
This is a filament rack for quicker swaps when you don't have a CFS system. The system is fully modular, holding 2, 4, 8, or 12 spools. PTFE tubing is glued into the sections where the filament will travel through the cross braces. This design allows enough room to reach an arm in to rewind a spool when you are no longer using it. Simply remove the retaining pin, slide the dowel out to one side, and you can easily remove and replace a spool.
Each option requires the "Cross Half Center Holes", "Cross Half Rear", and "Cross 2" prints. For a 2-spool version:
