When sanding the interior corner of a piece, it is easy to damage the piece by bumping the spinning sanding pad into the other planes of the piece. This replacement for the skirt (part number BD N371139) extends down further around the sanding pad, which puts it between the sanding pad and the piece, avoiding most of the scuffing/damage in this case.

This was designed to fit the DWE6423 sander, will probably fit a few other similar 5 inch sanders from DeWalt (e.g. DCW210B) and Craftsman.

This needs to be printed in TPU, because it needs to be stretched to fit onto the sander. Note that the sander and this model are not exactly circles, it will fit better if the smaller radius parts (where the small belt pulley is) are matched together.

I was able to print it without supports in the orientation given in the file.
