The original sole broke because it became bridle over time. The geometrie is quite simple. I was designed using a flat bet scanned print of the boot bottom view.

As "bridle" was the failure mode, I give it a try making it out of a stiff TPU instead of the usual PLA/PETG/ASA.

The Boot is a Salomon "Evolution 6.0 Performa". Some numbers at the inside may indicate the manufacturers size description:

290 / 315

It is printed with 5 perimeter lines and 70% infill.

Does it hold up? We will know in a year.
