Model changes:

V.1.2_9.8.2024 - We added supports to the reactor chamber that can be used for lighting effects. We adjusted the radius of the surface in contact with the print board. We modified the arched structure of the chamber to eliminate the defect of the top bridge, and we also added support brackets to more stably connect the filament of the plasma in the simulated reactor. The model was optimized to minimize unnecessary movements that could affect the visible parts.

• Origin:
  • The device is installed in the Tokamak Hall of the Plasma Physics Research Institute at Masaryk University in Prague 8. It was put into use in September 1977 and was subsequently named CASTOR
