This sink has a lid when closed and two slots to wash their hands. It conserves the water molecule's momentum as they are bouncing around in the lid. This will be very efficient for astronauts because during the day, astronauts are doing hands on activities and their hands can get dirty, but with a sink they can clean their hands up.  This idea is revolutionary and change how astronauts work in space. The faucet is not attached to the lid, so the lid and slid freely open and closed. It can be connected to the water supply that filters the water on the ISS. Once the water is used, you have to wait a while for the water molecules to leave the sink.
