Major Update!!! 13.02.2026:

After many attempts and your numerous requests, I’m releasing a new version of the lampshade. It is now much easier to assemble, while I’ve done my best to preserve the delicate, filigree look of the lamp. Now you only need regular cyanoacrylate glue (or any other glue suitable for bonding PLA).

In the new version, the decorative shade infill is thicker and includes a small lip to improve ease of assembly. I’ve also added extra clearances.

I still recommend waiting for the shade elements to cool down before attempting to remove them from the plate. To speed things up, I remove the print together with the build plate (PEI only) and gently wave it in the air to help it cool faster.

From now on, the frame elements of the lampshade are no longer glued edge-to-edge.

I’ve added a new connection system that you assemble in a few simple steps.

From the beginning:
Take the bottom part of the structure and slide in all the lower and upper shade elements (I also added a shade connector to make assembly easier). Only then place the top part on. Lay the whole structure on its side and insert your hand from underneath to connect everything according to the steps below:

*Pour a small amount of glue into the holes.
 

Insert a piece of filament (any color you like).
 

Trim the filament.

Only now glue the shade elements together.

 

You can also glue the shade to the frame at specific points, if you prefer.

Of course, you may follow a different assembly order if you think it’s better — but please don’t blame me later for the results 😉 The method described above has been tested and completed by me personally, and it works.

Lampshade. To assemble you need epoxy glue and a lot of patience. The elements are very delicate. From experience I recommend waiting until the plate cools down so as not to bend them while they are still warm, otherwise they will not fit!.. The process of assembling the elements is difficult and requires a lot of patience and determination. You download at your own risk!
