This is a Mario-themed tissue box cover, designed to fit a Scotties tissue box (22.5 cm length x 8.5 cm height x 12 cm depth). I saw some other Mario-themed tissue boxes on Maker World, but nearly all were square and only a few were rectangular in dimension. I also wanted to design a box that included a coin block in the middle of the cover and two brick blocks on either side (pretty much all other models were a coin block only).
What you see here is the result of my design. There are two profiles--one that works on standard-size printers (e.g., an A1 with a 25 cm³ print volume) and one that works on an A1 Mini (this profile has the box cover in two halves and can be attached together post-printing with CA glue using the yellow coin block panels). If you want to use this model for another rectangular tissue box with slightly different dimensions (i.e., another brand of tissue), you can adjust the size of the box/panels/question marks in Bambu Studio. Feel free to add your print profile here.
This is my first model that incorporates painting. After printing the model (the one in the photo uses PLA red, yellow, and white), I suggest painting the grout between the bricks with a black acrylic paint (see photos for detail). I should mention that I'm not very skilled with a paintbrush, but I found the model pretty easy to paint because of how the grout lines are grooved (i.e., kept my hand steady). After letting the paint dry for a bit, you can use CA glue to attach the yellow panels and white question marks onto the box cover (see photos).
A big acknowledgement to muddymaker for providing me the inspiration to make this model.
Happy decorating!
