Summary
An edit of the dashboard propeller's mount so that it could be attached or mounted to other objects. Originally intended as part of a birthday gag gift for a friend's cap to make it a propeller hat.
The default size in the STL is unchanged from unlimitedbacon's dashboard propeller. Scale it up to whatever size you like and print a similar size propeller. I started with the pin/axle scaled in Prusa Slicer to 1 inch diameter on the bottom and increased the propeller size accordingly. That first pin was too wide to fit even after some filing/sanding, so I printed a few more in diameters of 0.85, 0.89, and 0.9 inch, then scaled each vertically to the height of the 1 inch diameter axle. I neglected to record which was which during the print process, so I used the one that seemed to have been stretched vertically the most (i.e. the smallest diameter)- installed with firm pressure against a soft surface.
Room to improve:
- Propeller wobble, likely due to reduced axle diameter and increased axle length
- Consider revising the 'head' of the axle for easier install
- Check fit with alternate propeller blades, as seen in the original thing's other remixes

Notes:
Pin alone takes maybe 20 minutes, and I printed a few different size ones together in about 40 minutes. The blades will take much longer, so I advise adjusting the pin's size as outlined in the description.
