Summary

This part is designed to guide the filament into the extruder inlet. It´s used together with a small part of the standard 2x4mm PTFE (Teflon) tube to fix at the extruder. It also helps to remove dust from the filament before entering the system.

For simple Extruders i recommend to drill a 4mm hole into the inlet side. For improved versions you can use the thread connection and the hose fitting to mount the Filament guide (see pictures).
