Wall plaque for the band Powerman 5000 based on one of their logos.

I used PrusaSlicer to slice the STL and add a color change at the correct height so that the lettering would be a different color from the base in a single print. There are countersunk screw holes in the corners of the wall plaque for easy mounting. I have included the svg file I created by tracing the logo and the scad file which adds the base and screw holes and uses a Google Font that was close enough to Powerman 5000 typical font.

If you are going to use the scad file and make changes to the STL then you will need to download the svg file and place it in the same folder as the scad file. You will also need to install Jomhuria font which is here: Link to Google Fonts for Jomhuria

Converted this jpg to vector graphics file .svg using Inkscape and manual tracing. I paid close attention to making the design symmetrical and mirrored properly.

I added the band name centered (visually) at the top of the design and a base to the wall plaque with countersunk screw holes in the corners.

I sliced the STL for my Ender 3 using PrusaSlicer which is a great slicer all around but especially for adding color changes to prints at a certain layer height. It will add a z movement up and away from the print, retract the filament that is being used currently quite a lot and then pause the print while sounding the printer's alarm. I didn't realize I couldn't use the Ender 3 control panel while it was paused in this manner the first time I tried this. When you press the control knob in, the print will automatically resume so make sure you have changed the filament first and carefully force any remaining old color out of the nozzle by pushing the new filament slowly by hand.
