I have a workstation with 3 screens so the laptop is generally just in the way on top of my desk. This lets me mount a laptop under the desk. Usually i have shelves around three of the sides in a “U” formation and that lets me slide them in and out as i change what laptop i use.
Since the shelves are small they let me orient them where support is needed and still leave the ports accessible.
I printed mine in PLA on my old printer 2 years ago and they have been holding up my thinkpad P16g2 and HP fury work machines pretty good.
You will need at least a couple of wood screws to secure them to the underside of your table. If you want to make the installation easier you can also first use double sided tape to make sure they are positioned correctly.
