Adapts to a 4 inch flexible ductwork.  I use a photoeye sensor to detect when something enters the litterbox.  From there I have an RNG timer to not Pavlov my cats then a fan starts up to pull the air out for the first 10 minutes.  Works really well to absorb most of the smell.  Last photo is the topper that this replaces.
