I have a full length Levelor Brand shade on the door to my apartment. The door gets opened a log and folks tend to slam it and otherwise abuse it. Over time the brackets that hold the blind taut broke allowing the blind to sway back and forth. I didn't have a 3D printer at the time and after I got one I couldn't believe that I could print such a part with the aid of the Fusion CAD program. But I did and it works perfectly. It will eventually get kicked or somehow broken, and when it does, I'll print another one

It's been several years and I don't remember if there was a peg on the blind that was designed to go into a hole in the bracket, or if there was a hole in the bracket with a screw. The peg may have been broken off so that I had to file it down, drill a hole, and put it a screw. It was an easy fix though.

It prints equally well standing upright or lying on it's back. I used PLA.
