Summary
I recently replaced my electric car that used a type 1 inlet with a car with a type 2 inlet.
This meant replacing the tethered cable on the Rolec Wallpod charge point with a type 2 cable. There are commercially available equivalents of this, but I had filament and a 3D printer, so I designed my own. Bolt fitments are the same as the original Rolec type 1 holster.
Featuring a water drain on the bottom, and a retention clip.
Needs supports during printing or the retention clip won't work.
ABS filament recommended for better resilience to the outdoors. Include a raft to avoid ABS warping.
