Print upside down ('legs' up, holes down).
Requires 6 (16mm diameter are ideal) marbles (3 per player, each player has their own color).
Setup:
- The board is a circle divided into 8 spaces around the edge, with 1 space in the center.
- Players each start with 3 pawns off the board.
Objective:
- Be the first to align your 3 pawns in a straight line (can be vertical, horizontal, or diagonal through the center).
Gameplay:
Phase 1: Placement
- Take Turns: Players take turns placing 1 pawn on any open space.
- No Movement Yet: During this phase, pawns cannot move.
- Winning Opportunity: If a player aligns all 3 pawns during placement, they win immediately.
Phase 2: Movement
- After Placement: When all pawns are on the board, players take turns moving one of their pawns.
- Movement Rules:
- Pawns can only move to an adjacent, empty space.
- Movement can be along the edge or to/from the center.
- Winning:
- The first player to align their 3 pawns in a straight line wins.
Additional Rules:
- Draws: If no player can win, the game is a draw.
- Forced Moves: If a player has no legal moves, they forfeit their turn.
