I used a small rubber mallet to press the pins into the base and top the legs should slide one between them.

I started a new internship where I was given a laptop to use for it. After the first day my neck was already sore from craning my neck to look at the thing. So i booted up solidworks and 30 mins later I had this thing. May come back and make a V2 but this one works great.
