It must be tough always asking people for IDs - especially if they haven't done anything wrong. Imagine this: hundreds of times each night, you say the same thing over and over:

"You're suspicious!"
"Everything that's going on this day and age!"
"It's for my safety!"

Holding the "C" sign while demanding ID surely would cause muscle fatigue (or motion injury) AND indeed, saying the same thing over and over can cause hoarseness or dry throats! And that my friends, in its totality, isn't officer safety!

The ID Assistant!

This left or right handed device allows you to hold the "C" sign in your hand in perpetuity when on duty as well as displaying common "demands." I've included these common demand labels as well as a blank one.

PROTIP:

For the blank one, you could write something like, "SIT ON THE CURB" or maybe even "CURSORY SEARCH." Easily placed in your pocket for on OR off duty!

Scale as needed: I printed mine at 110% (don't forget to scale the demand labels the same).
Print in in the orientation as shown in the photo.
Print the assistant tubes at 100% infill and the rest about 15% infill with supports.
Print the labels, print at 25% infill / ironing / filament change.
V2 doesn't have the demand label holes.
To add a color change / "thin blue line," set filament change to layers 94, 105.
