Most lamp shades have an open top, which allows light to escape upwards—often more than I prefer.

I designed this holder to support a piece of paper above the bulb, redirecting the light downward and creating a much softer, more pleasant ambiance.

Important: Only use this with LED bulbs. Incandescent bulbs get hot and can cause the paper to catch fire!
