In the QST quick test caliper purchased from AliExpress, I replaced the LR1130 battery with AAA batteries. However, due to the curved design of the battery compartment side, the original battery did not fit snugly into the compartment.
You need to prepare the following: wires, aluminum foil, some kind of adhesive, and a multimeter
Pull the wires out of the holes at the bottom of the battery compartment, route them along the side channel to the bottom, and extend them to the other end. Then, attach aluminum foil to the wires to ensure good contact. Due to the limited space, it is recommended that you slow down and operate carefully.

After the locking screw and the battery cover screw are tightened, the assembly is complete.

PS: Hot melt glue is your reliable assistant. Applying the glue evenly with a flat-head tool can greatly improve the installation efficiency and stability.

As long as the size matches, other generic brands are also suitable:
The center of the screw is about 2.4 mm from the edge; the size of the battery cover is about 17.3×12.8 mm, and the distance from the upper edge of the battery cover to the top edge is 5.5 mm.
