I recommend printing the gate face up, this provides a better surface quality (ahthough at the expense of using more support material

Spray painted with gray base coat, then covered constellation "track" and lightly/indirectly sprayed with metallic copper paint to give a slight tint/contrast to the main body

Constellations/symbols weren't visible after print so the ones matching Atlantis's address were hand-painted with light blue acrylic
