In 2011 new safety standards for cribs prohibited drop-sides. The dropped side can become loose creating a gap between the rail and mattress that a child can fall into and suffocate.
Crib manufacturer Delta provided safety clips that would "immobilize" the rail so it will not drop or move out of position.
This project is a functional equivalent of the clips provided by Delta for Model "D" cribs.
The project requires (2) 1/4" x 1 3/4" bolts and nuts. I used 28 thread phillips head screws, but any that fit will work.
I printed the clips on my A1 Mini with the arched surfaces up, like they are shown lying on the table, and added tree support, but enabled "Remove small overhangs" since the bolt holes don't need support.
