The reason I chose this product is that when the battery voltage drops to a critical value, I will turn off the device in time; and when charging, I always use the battery charger provided by DeWalt. In this way, the battery used in my project is safe and reliable, well protected during transportation, and also has a cost-effective charging solution. Although I have only tried this product on a 20V battery so far, its design prototype is based on DeWalt chargers, so it can also be easily adapted and installed for use with a 12V battery.
