Abstract
Coinciding with the eve of Valentine's Day, I've completely upgraded my "Heart Gear" series. This update features a brand-new clip-style pin library, which not only ensures more stable and reliable printing results but also simplifies the assembly process significantly. Additionally, I've thoughtfully provided three different gear ratios for you to choose from, allowing you to decide just how much "challenge" you want to add to this "sweetness".

Because the design itself doesn't provide many adjustable parameters, I didn't deliberately make it "Customizer-friendly". However, I rewrote and greatly simplified the OpenSCAD file to make it easier for users to cut out gear components of any shape according to their own needs. Every time I see people derive all kinds of novel gear combinations based on this design, it fills me with great joy and anticipation.
Assembly instructions
I believe that after watching this video, the assembly process should be very clear now. To ensure that the gears run smoothly and without any abnormal noise, I recommend applying a suitable amount of lubricating grease to each snap pin. I usually use white lithium-based lubricating grease, but any lubricant that won't melt plastic materials will work just fine.
The heart-shaped gear plates are named according to their gear ratio, for example, 1-2 represents a transmission ratio of 1:2, and so on. Among them, the gear cycle of 1-2 is one turn, while 2-3 requires two turns, and 5-6 is as long as five turns - so please be patient and don't give up easily! If you need to disassemble each component separately, there are many free mesh editors and slicing software on the market that can easily separate the parts; or you can also directly export the required individual part files from the OpenSCAD script.
